My name is Jessica, welcome to my mad hobbies! I live in Cape Town, South Africa, where I was a founder member of the local SCA group, the Shire of Adamastor. Although I am no longer active in the SCA, my interests include medieval cooking, music and costume and I was an inveterate holder of offices; my articles on these topics are still available on this site. I am also a frenzied and passionate role-player, with interests in both tabletop and live-action gaming, and with a particular fondness for Call of Cthulhu and Castle Falkenstein, although these days we have branched out into storytelling games such as Fiasco! and Lady Blackbird.
